Pathaan, a spy thriller film crossed the Rs. 450 crore mark on Saturday, 11th February, 2023. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and stars Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. It has a small cameo of Salman Khan. It marks the return of Shahrukh Khan after 4 years and he is seen in an action avatar for the very first time. The movie was released on 25th January, 2023. It has become the fastest film to cross Rs. 450 crores in Hindi version.
On the 18th day of the movie, the total collection of the film was 473 crores out of which around 456.50 crores are from its Hindi version. According to the calculations made the total gross in India is up to Rs 568 crores and if it has to be calculated all over the world it is estimated to be Rs 930 crores.
Yash Raj Films (YRF) has announced Pathaan to be the first film of its spy universe. Salman Khan as Tiger and Hrithik Roshan as Kabir from War will also be involved in the universe. The movie is considered unstoppable as let alone on Saturday earned 11 crores. It has become the second-highest Hindi movie grosser in its extended first week. Pathaan has posted double digits on its day 18 again which is considered as almost around 90-95% growth from Friday collections.
After its drop in the audience on Wednesday and Thursday, there was a drastic change and double audience on Saturday. It is expected to cross at least 950 crores Worldwide by the Third Sunday by looking at the numbers for Saturday. After that, it is expected to cross 1000 crores worldwide because of the bigger jump on Sunday and Valentine’s Day. The film is expected to break the records posed by Baahubali 2 soon.

Till now there is not much competition for the movie but from next week the film will have two major competitions Shehzada starring Kartik Aryan and a marvel movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Everyone has many expectations from the film and many wishes to break records.
